Ismail Mahomed Law Reform Essay Competition 2012

Entries for the 2012 Ismail Mahomed Law Reform Essay Competition sponsored by Juta Law are now open. The competition, which is open to LLB and LLM students at South African universities, is held under the auspices of the SA Law Reform Commission and encourages entrants to explore new ideas relating to law reform in a formal written essay. Prizes valued at over R70 000 will be awarded to the winning essays.

Entries for the 2012 Ismail Mahomed Law Reform Essay Competition sponsored by Juta Law are now open. The  competition which is open to LLB and LLM students registered at a South African university is held under the auspices of the SA Law Reform Commission and encourages students to explore new ideas relating to law reform in a formal written essay. The competition carries prizes valued at over R70 000 sponsored by Juta Law.

The individual winners and runners-up in the LLB and LLM categories stand to win: 
• An Incredible Connection voucher or book voucher to the value of R20,000

OR
• A one-year subscription to Juta’s South African Law Reports 1947-date on CD-ROM

Runners-up  - LLB & LLB Categories:
• An Incredible Connection voucher or book voucher to the value of R10,000 each

OR
• A one-year subscription to Juta’s Statutes and Regulations of South Africa on CD-ROM

The winners' supervisors and the law faculties to which they belong will each recieve a book voucher valued at R2 500.
